Sadly we have fond out that FMF has changed the shape of the Gnarly  PT# 025203 some time in summer of 2021.  We know that a pipe built in July 2021 does not fit and any pipe built after that date will likely not fit.   They have used the same part number for this pipe without a revision number so there is no way to know when the change was made but since we did not hear about this issue until Dec 2021 probably anything built in early 2021 would fit.  We have no working relationship with FMF and they do not share there R&D information as to why and when the change was made.  We do have stock of this part number and hope we can sell thru them for people that have the original pipe shape.  After all our current stock is gone this sku will be discontinued.

The Emperor Pipe Guard Skid Plate is the best skid plate available on the market today. With a 3/16” thick aluminum construction, hand Tig welded wings (full length both sides) with an Emperor logo carved into each side for the bling factor, aluminum mounting brackets and high-grade metric fasteners, you simply can’t go wrong. But now we have made it even better by offering a pipe guard version for all the 2 stroke fans out there. It still has all the standard extras like 1/4″ thick x 3/4″ wide foam tape to place between the frame and skid plate for a nice snug fit that will eliminate any possible vibrations, a block of open cell foam is also supplied to place between the skid plate and the engine to reduce the build up of material between the skid plate and engine case. Also has pre-drilled holes for Plastic Slip Liner (KTM-2256)  This is the perfect product for the hard core 2 stroke loving off-road rider.
